The best place/time to see people of all different races and background come together is definitely during a sporting event. I noticed this when I had the chance to work at a Badminton Game a few years back and today has definitely proven me right. 

What was super unpleasant was not the fact that Malaysia took home the Silver but the attitudes of some Malaysians. I see so many people on social media expressing their unsatisfactory feelings not just because we didn't manage to bring the Gold home BUT  just because they didn't manage to get their free food that was promised if Datuk Lee brought home the Gold for us. -.- 

Seriously? 

 

And there are those even before the match has already declared that Malaysia is a loser. Come on, think about it, despite taken the Silver home, we are definitely NOT losers. We made it to the Olympic finals, does that not account for anything? -.-

It just ticks me off. 

Anyways, I personally thought that Datuk Lee gave it his best and made Malaysia really really proud!!! He deserves so much more than he is credited for. 

I had a really enjoyable time/night watching it with my loved ones. 

A simple dinner and a tight match was stressful yet relaxing at the same time. :D
