One of my best friend calls me a present junkie and in a way its true! Christmas has always been my favourite holiday as it has always been associated with gifts and just the whole mood of giving and unravelling something in a gift box is amazing! Its not so much about what is inside but the whole anticipation and surprise yet to be found in unwrapping a gift. I'm even satisfied if I'm allowed to unwrap other peoples gift. hehehehehehe. And I am blessed with a family which allows me to do that SOMETIMES!!! And friends who will wrap up anything little thing just to let me enjoy unwrapping. Oh the joy! (; ♥
During the younger days, mum would always ask us to unwrap the presents nicely so that we might be able to save beautiful wrapping papers. But as we grew older we just started ripping the wrappers out. It is way more fun that way. Especially if you have tons of presents to unwrap! You see the trick to not wasting beautiful wrapping papers is not to use expensive ones only on Christmas. Both the giver and the receiver are equally happy! I get to unveil my presents quickly and my aunts don't have to spend much on wrapping papers. (;
So Christmas this year was a lil different. I had a rather quite one but surprises were everywhere! (: Whatever it is I'm still glad and without my WHOLE family, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas!
